Today, I would like to highlight another opportunity that you can do, and with a piece of equipment you probably never thought could make you money.
There is a program on the BBC Network called the Antiques Road Show. It airs on BBC Lifestyle channel 174 on DSTV. During the show, people bring along antique items to be examined and valued by antique experts. These items which were kept for their sentimental value, have been preserved and handed down through their lineage.
The experts look for clues like trademarks, signatures, symbols, writings on the items to determine their value. Some seemingly useless items were valued at several hundred or even thousands of Pounds to the amazement and delight of the owners.
In the same vein, could there be an item or items in your own house that could fetch you some extra bucks? It may or may not be an antique. It may even an everyday object in your home.
